On today’s episode, my grandpa explains what he believes is important for any leader or ruler of a government to know and implement in order to take the best care of their country.
Having experienced a horrible fate from a corrupt leadership and kingdom in Afghanistan after Nadir Shah betrayed King Amanullah and the people, he shared some wise thoughts that are applicable for not just leaders of government, but all people in the world.

Adam: You experienced what happens when a leader or ruler of government becomes corrupt. What do you think is important for leaders and governments to know to take care of their people?
Khaled: Every government, every leader, must first be honest with themselves. If somebody is honest with themselves, they can be honest with other people. The people who aren’t honest with other people actually aren’t honest with themselves. To be honest and be true and faithful to the country and the people. Honesty with the people, but to have that, first be honest with yourself.
